Fall Getaway to the Farmhouse Inn

The Farmhouse Inn is quickly becoming my home away from home. My sanctuary. Where I go to feel calm and rejuvenated. You won’t truly understand the magnitude of its beauty until you see it and experience it for yourself.

The Farmhouse Inn is located in the heart of Sonoma, California. Nestled in the scenic rolling hills of wine country, just South of Healdsburg and a quick 30 minute drive to Napa Valley. It has all of the luxurious details of a 5 Star Resort, with the charming qualities of a bed and breakfast. It is the perfect getaway from San Francisco. The location is such a dream and even though you are close to major destinations, you feel so secluded! There are only 25 suites on-site, so it feels very intimate and remote. I have said it a million times and I will say it a million times more, but nothing in the world can beat wine country in the Fall. The rolling hills of vineyards turn vibrant yellow and deep red, the weather could not be more perfect and the air has the most relaxing aroma from harvest season.

Toast to the Fall Season with Chloe Wine Collection

There is something about Fall that makes me want to cozy up inside with a warm blanket and clear my schedule of all responsibilities. Anyone else? November and December are going to be insanely busy for me, so I took some much needed me-time and escaped to my favorite resort for a bit of calm before the storm. It is so important to allow yourself to recharge and enjoy the “now”, especially when going into the busy holiday season!! Sipping on wine, enjoying a good book/listening to podcasts and relaxing for an entire weekend made me feel like an entirely new person. I, of course, brought a couple bottles of my favorite Fall wine, Chloe Wine Collection Pinot Grigio for the relaxing weekend getaway. The Pinot Grigio is bursting with flavors of juicy white peach, soft melon, crisp apple and floral honeysuckle with a subtle undertone of Meyer lemon that I especially enjoy in the Fall. Before putting up my out-of-office email, I got together with my friend and well-known San Francisco photographer, Engel Ching, to create a little Fall inspiration for those who may want to take a personal vacation or couples trip before the holidays! All you need is Chloe Wine Pinot Grigio, some sweet treats and a nights stay at a cozy resort to feel your best going into the busy season!! This Fall inspiration also works for holiday entertaining!

Sonoma Valley: Anniversary Weekend Itinerary

A couple of weeks ago, Patrick and I celebrated our eighth Anniversary together with a weekend getaway to the beautiful Sonoma Valley. Do you guys remember this post from our last Sonoma Valley trip for Valentine’s Day earlier this year?! Sonoma Valley holds a special place in Patrick and I’s heart. We have been visiting with family for years and we just got engaged at a winery up there!
