My New Hammitt Love

I so vividly remember purchasing my very first Hammitt bag. It was almost 2 and a half years ago while I was shopping at a high-end boutique in Boulder, Colorado. I saw the most beautiful, unique bag siting pretty on the shelf and immediately knew I had to have it for my move to San Francisco. I fell in love with my very first Hammitt because of its pretty details, but I now own several because of the convenient features you don’t find in any other designer bags. There is nothing that brings me more joy than a brand new bag, and my newest Hammitt love is the Jeffrey. The chain strap makes it feel so luxe paired with the textured leather and their signature rivet detailing. The interior is also lined with the most luxurious, embossed red suede. There is a dedicated pocket for quick access to my phone, four credit card slots and a clear ID slot, as well as a zipper pocket and a large pouch for storing my lipstick, etc.! Recently I have been keeping all of my essentials in this bag so that I can quickly grab it and run out the door for meetings or a night out! It’s an all-time favorite from one of my all-time favorite brands, so I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!

A couple weekends ago Patrick and I packed our bags and headed on a Valentine’s Day getaway to the beautiful Sonoma Valley. I received so many questions regarding what we did and where we stayed after sharing our trip on my Instagram Stories, so I thought it would be helpful to share our full weekend itinerary here to reference. If you decide to use this itinerary for a romantic getaway or girls weekend, send me an email or DM with a photo from one of the the locations and i’ll make sure to share it on my Instagram Stories!

I recently went on a little shopping spree at Tobi after seeing so many ridiculously cute items at insane prices. Remember this Valentine’s Day dress I wore last week?! Tobi! I also picked up this adorable mini dress for wine tasting the other weekend (it comes in all-black, too!). It gives me major Italian vibes which is always a perfect look for wine country!! I am loving the off-the-shoulder look for early Spring and the cute ruffle details paired with embroidery is perfection. I paired the look with nude shoes and accessories to let the dress do all the talking! What do you think? Are you loving this dress as much as I do?! I’m obsessed and ended up getting it in all-black too!!

Moving to San Francisco was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. It’s no wonder why everyone says you’ll leave your heart here. I honestly can’t imagine living anywhere else now and feel so fortunate to call this beautiful city home! One thing I quickly learned about living here is that if you don’t have a jacket with you every single day, you’re probably not a local. We do get beautiful sunny days sprinkled in, but i’ve grown to love the consistently-inconsistent weather. San Francisco is full of microclimates and the temperature can change a lot in a single day. Layers are ALWAYS a must, so the one thing I always keep stocked in my coat closet. I recently got this amazing cardigan from Magnolia Boutique and it became an instant fave. It is equal parts chic and cozy and is perfect for so many different weather conditions. It’s unbelievably comfortable and flattering and has this amazing cool-girl, blazer vibe. It’s a must-have in every woman’s closet.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!! I’ve never been particularly into Valentine’s Day because I believe that the same love should be brought into each and every day. However, for some reason my thoughts changed a bit this year. I thought about how i’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 7 Valentine’s Days with the love of my life and thought about all the memories it has created for us. I thought about all of the little Valentine’s Day gifts my parents still give me each year and the joy even just a thoughtful card on this day means. Love is the root of all things. It allows you to take risks without fear of failure and creates a burning desire to better yourself for your loved ones. But Valentine’s by no means means you need to have a significant other to share it with. There are all kinds of love in this world and I love that this day reminds us celebrate and cherish that love. Whether it is your husband, partner, parents, best friend – Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love. I just love, love!
