Happy Valentine’s Day!!! I’ve never been particularly into Valentine’s Day because I believe that the same love should be brought into each and every day. However, for some reason my thoughts changed a bit this year. I thought about how i’ve been lucky enough to spend the last 7 Valentine’s Days with the love of my life and thought about all the memories it has created for us. I thought about all of the little Valentine’s Day gifts my parents still give me each year and the joy even just a thoughtful card on this day means. Love is the root of all things. It allows you to take risks without fear of failure and creates a burning desire to better yourself for your loved ones. But Valentine’s by no means means you need to have a significant other to share it with. There are all kinds of love in this world and I love that this day reminds us celebrate and cherish that love. Whether it is your husband, partner, parents, best friend – Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love. I just love, love!

eDressMe for the Holidays

I love this time of year because there are so many reasons so get dressed up!! I found this Jovani dress from edressme and immediately knew that I had to have it for the holidays. I mean, how cute would this dress be for a Christmas card photo or for a fancy holiday party? This shade of red has the most gorgeous sheen to it and the silhouette is so classy and feminine. It is a definite must-have for every woman’s closet.

Tuscan Dreams

I fell in love with Bliss Tulle and their incredibly whimsical skirts years ago. It was always a challenge to find the perfect top to pair with the skirts. They had to be the right length, fit and needed to compliment the beauty of the skirt. Patrick has spent the last 3 years taking the CFA exam, all while excelling in his career, landing his dream job, giving me his very little free time and agreeing to be a part-time model (okay but can you blame me for wanting a million pictures of him?). If you are familiar with the exam then you know how proud I am to say he passed the 3rd and final exam after 3 years and countless hours of studying. Every single day he amazes me more and inspires me in the most powerful ways. We are so glad it is OVER and we have our weekends back for good!!!

Sorry for the random mushy love post, but I am so proud I can’t contain it! I just made reservations at Acquerello in Russian Hill to celebrate. Have any of you been?! I heard it’s incredible!
