The best part about being engaged?! There is always a reason to celebrate!! Patrick and I got engaged this Summer and we are starting to think about all of the events surrounding our wedding. By now, you know that my go-to wine is Chloe Wine Collection. Their Prosecco is an all-time favorite and my choice for all celebrations! I know that so many of you guys are recently engaged as well, so I thought it would be fun to share a quick and easy engagement brunch you can throw this Summer! Plus, it is a great excuse to buy a cute new white dress and drink Chloe Wine Prosecco with friends. It’s a win-win!
I can’t believe it has been FOUR months since Patrick and I got engaged! It has been a complete whirlwind over here since the proposal with back-to-back travel and all of my best friends getting engaged within a couple months of each other! What is in the water this year?! Time has been moving so fast and I just keep pinching myself to make sure to take in every single second of this magical time.
Back in April Patrick and I got to travel to Manchester, England to watch our favorite team, Manchester City, take on their biggest rival in the Premier League. I’ve had many exciting jobs in the past, but getting to work with my favorite team for such a momentous match is something that I will always remember as a highlight in my career. I have grown up around and have played soccer my entire life and Patrick got me my first Man City Jersey almost 8 years ago. We’ve watched countless games together on TV, but it was always on our bucket list to go to a game in Manchester and see them play in person, which we were finally able to do last year. There is no one that represents The Beautiful Game quite like Manchester City, so being able to watch 2 games in Manchester in less than a year has been a complete dream for us! Make sure to check out the Manchester Vlog at the bottom of this post!
This month we have been really lucky to get incredible weather in San Francisco. The weather can be all over the board here, so when we have exceptionally nice days we make sure to spend it outdoors! A couple of weeks ago we planned a picnic at Golden Gate Park right next to Stow Lake, which is something I’ve had on my SF Bucket List since we moved here a little over 2 years ago. The park itself is one of the most beautiful in the world with Rose Gardens, a Japanese Tea Garden and trails stretching for miles and miles. I love that a picnic can get my girlfriends and I to a different part of the city, and it is so much fun to catch up while drinking our favorite Chloe Wine Collection Rosé till the warm, golden light fades below the horizon.
