Happy Valentine’s Day, loves! I have been dying to share these Valentine’s Day images with you! This is part two (see part one here) of my Valentine’s Day Lookbook shot with Rachel Allan at the magical Castello Di Amorosa. This gown is literally what dreams are made of and the epitome of romance. When I was in Santorini after college there was a wedding on the cliffs of Oia that I witnessed while passing by. To this day the image is engraved in my brain. The bride wore the most stunning white mermaid gown with a white rose train that draped down the ledge and trailed off the edge of the white covered cliffs. I remember being speechless, standing before something that looked more like a painting than real life. The dress was almost identical to this one, only the train was even more elaborate if you can try to imagine. I am constantly being asked what inspires my photoshoots and this is a perfect example of how profound memories are able to be reborn in new places and new situations.
A few weeks ago I attending the most beautiful Galentine’s Day Brunch hosted by Ariana Lauren of FashionBorn at her home in the Marina. Ariana’s home was perfectly decorated in pink and red hues, with attention to even the tiniest of details. I spent the morning chatting and sipping guava cocktails with some of the most inspiring women whom I’ve come to know through this crazy blogging world. It is so important to celebrate the girlgang as well and it was so sweet of Ariana to bring us all together in such a beautiful setting. You can read more about how to throw a Galentine’s Day Brunch over on The Every Girl where they spill all the deets on this lovely brunch.
Happy Sunday, loves! Today’s look is ultra feminine and perfect for Valentine’s Day. The delicate lace compliments the sheer tulle perfectly. I shot this look while I was in Napa, which is also the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway for lovers or with the girls. Patrick and I had a busy weekend getting caught up on work, so we will be celebrating V-Day next week with a trip up to wine country (our favorite).
While I type this I am longing to be at NYFW, but I am also thankful that I am bundled up in my cozy San Francisco apartment and away from any chance of a snowstorm. I have a few exciting projects that are keeping me in the city, and I am lucky to have gowns like this that bring NYFW straight to me. I was fortunate enough to be a part of this incredible lookbook with Rachel Allan for their Spring 2017 line at the infamous Castello di Amorosa, which is nestled in the rolling hills of Calistoga. The castle emulates the romance of Tuscany, and created the most extravagant backdrop for this luxurious Valentine’s Day inspired lookbook for their Prima Donna line.
Happy Tuesday, guys! I am so sorry for being so MIA over the last week. I have been prepping to bring you a bunch of amazing content with companies that I am super excited about.. so stay tuned.:)
I received several questions about this look that I posted on Instagram last week and thought I’d make a quick post to answer all of your questions! This top from Modern Vintage Boutique quickly became a favorite with its’ unique lace details and comfy fit. I love it paired with a dark wash, flared denim with sky high wooden heels. I wore the oversized straw hat to tie in with the wooden heels and tan Strathberry bag. This is the perfect weekend look for around town or when on vacay. I love the Winter White but this look can easily be worn year round (maybe sub the flared jeans for ripped denim shorts in the Summer). Anyways, I hope you are all having a fantastic week! xo
