Happy Friday, guys! I hope this post finds you well. I am heading to Colorado this weekend to celebrate Christmas with Patrick’s side of the family, but wanted to quickly show you this perfect holiday look that is amazing for both Christmas + New Years. I was literally trying this dress on, debating what to wear to a holiday party, when I got a surprise delivery from Strathberry. They sent me their Strathberry Nano Tote in metallic ruby. It is the most festive purse i’ve ever laid eyes on and knew I had to go all out and pair it with this dress. How amazing is this red on red combo? I have been carrying it every day since and am constantly being asked where I got it. It would be such a cute Christmas gift and comes in a ton of amazing colors.
I’ve been seeing these exaggerated, ruffled tops all over Instagram and knew I had to get my hands on one! We were extremely fortunate with beautiful weather in San Francisco last week when I got to wear this. The fit and style is one of the best i’ve seen!
In my eyes, For Love & Lemons can do no wrong. This dark navy, nearly black lace dress is what dreams are made of. I got it from Revolve and I swoon over the dainty details, scalloped edges and how the back is slightly longer than the front. It is also a dress that can transition through all of the seasons, making it the perfect LBD to add to the closet. I’m kicking myself for not getting it in white too before it sold out! And faux real…. how cute are these little bow heels? I die!
Today’s look is transitioning us into New Years celebrations. I love this all-gold look for a Christmas party, but it would also work perfectly as an ultra-glam way to ring in the New Year. This gold, metallic skirt from Skylar Belle Boutique looks so incredibly luxe and instantly steals the spotlight. I love the contrast of it against the warm gold velvet for holiday parties in the city.
Is there anything better than a Sunday in December? If you’re brave enough to go the mall anytime in December, I commend you. After experiencing the chaos of downtown San Francisco during Christmas time, Patrick and I opted for quick online gift shopping this weekend, and spent our time outside of the city and far from the malls.
This is my ideal weekend outfit. It transitions perfectly from day to night and there is nothing I love more than a red sweater in December. I got this sweater from HER Boutique because you know I have a thing for exposed shoulders, as well as a cozy knit I can cuddle up in.
