Exposed Shoulders and Pom Poms

Is there anything better than a Sunday in December? If you’re brave enough to go the mall anytime in December, I commend you. After experiencing the chaos of downtown San Francisco during Christmas time, Patrick and I opted for quick online gift shopping this weekend, and spent our time outside of the city and far from the malls.

This is my ideal weekend outfit. It transitions perfectly from day to night and there is nothing I love more than a red sweater in December.  I got this sweater from HER Boutique because you know I have a thing for exposed shoulders, as well as a cozy knit I can cuddle up in.

Tulle for the Holidays

Holiday’s and tulle were made for each other. There is nothing more festive than a classic tulle skirt for a holiday party, and I love that Bliss Tulle gives so many options for sizes, colors and shapes so that you can find one exactly for you. The majority of tulle skirts I own are full poof, because well, if i’m going to wear a tulle skirt I want to go all out! But then I fell in love with understated, soft drape mini, that gives all the glam of a typical tulle skirt but is much more tame and easier to wear on a day-to-day basis. I went with a classic white color so I could pair it with different tops all year round. How cute would this be with a red top for Christmas?! Right?

Neck Ties

It’s finally Friday! I feel so fortunate for all of the traveling I have gotten to do lately! These images were taken at Meadowood last week, a luxury resort nestled away in St. Helena. When you arrive at Meadowood you are instantly transported into another world. City dwellers make the escape to Meadowood for relaxation, and travelers may come for the 3 Michelin Star Restaurant. Regardless of why people come, it is clear why you’d want to stay once you get here.
