A couple of weeks ago I took a girls trip with two of my favorite ladies, Olia from Love, Olia and Erika of Whiskey & Lace, to the Farmhouse Inn. This was my second visit to the Farmhouse (remember Patrick and I’s Anniversary Getaway?!), and it just solidified the fact that it is one of the absolute best places you can stay while visiting wine country or for a relaxing getaway from the day-to-day. It also proved to be the perfect place to escape for some quality time with the girls in a cozy and beyond luxurious setting. Right when we arrived, we instantly felt like we were on vacation. We were each poured a glass of wine and caught up in the courtyard as our bags were collected from our cars and set up in our separate rooms.

Can we also just talk about these rooms for a minute? The spacious suites are the perfect blend between country charm and high-end luxury. Ceiling goals, bathroom goals, fireplace goals, literally everything goals. It is no question that my future home will be taking more than a few design elements from the Farmhouse and I might just completely recreate the bathroom. I mean.. come on. The bathroom has heated floors (for my always cold feet, tysm.), a jetted bathtub, a steam shower and everything is in all-white marble. A total dream, right?

The first morning we enjoyed breakfast & mimosas next to the double-sided fireplace on our private balcony. The breakfast is always displayed in the most beautiful way, and the waffles are out of this world. I last visited the Farmhouse in November when all of the fall colors were out and the air was crisp. So it was so fun to return this Spring to see all of the flowers now in full bloom and to be able to lay by the large pool that is surrounded by the resorts spa & gardens.

The location is such a dream and a true escape from the real world. There are only 25 suites on-site, so you feel very secluded in the best way. We immediately felt at ease here with an incredibly attentive concierge staff that made us feel at home the moment we walked in. Whether laying by the pool, or eating s’mores/drinking wine by the fire pit, all of our needs were met and we were able to feel completely carefree as we chatted about our blogs, family, etc.; all while getting in some serious R&R.

Each night the resort does a turn down service where they prepare your room for night time and leave milk, along with the most delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. The Farmhouse truly pays attention to every last detail to ensure the best possible stay for each and every one of its’ guests.

If you are looking for a place to stay in wine country – I cannot recommend the Farmhouse Inn enough. I’m already itching to get back and think my next trip will have to be to spoil my mom on a mother/daughter trip. Yes, that sounds lovely. xx
