One of the things I love most about living in San Francisco is the proximity to wine country and the access I have to some of the best wines in the world. It is not rare to spend weekends wine tasting with friends and family, or to try a new Rosé at brunch. There is a strong and passionate wine culture in this city that creates an unspoken, but powerful bond between wine glasses.
Saturday’s that are spent brunching and flower shopping are my kind of Saturday’s. I’ve never been to a city that has dreamier flower shops than San Francisco and I think it’s one of the things that gives SF its’ undeniable charm. Whether you live here or are visiting, you need to go to this pretty shop. Ampersand has the most unique flowers you’ll ever see, twinkling lights year-round and has a huge, iconic teal barn door. I felt it fitting to wear my newest floral maxi the last time I went. You know.. just trying to blend in!
DISCLAIMER: no I do not need glasses, contacts, etc. but for some reason I did need these super trendy glasses from MVMT. They were the first pair I tried on and LOVED so I obviously had to get them. To be honest, this post has a lot of firsts for me. For example.. I never wear yellow. But for some reason I was so drawn to this dress. It is so feminine and has the most flattering silhouette. I just feel like I deserve to be in Mexico with a margarita wearing this. Am I right?

Good morning and Happy Tuesday! I’ve expressed my love for this dress from Alter Ego time and time again. It really is such an incredibly beautiful dress that is flattering on everyone. This light, dusty blue shade caught my eye the second it was released. It is so fresh for Summer and the shade will easily carry into Spring as well. I would be lying if I said I didn’t get this dress with this winery in mind to wear it to. The lavender was out in full bloom and I knew I had to wear the lace dress when visiting the Matanzas Creek Winery in Santa Rosa last month. The smell of Lavender through the fields is incredible – and this winery is a MUST visit in June.
