Cow Hollow Sunshine

Good morning, loves! Our neighborhood is so beautiful right now! Everything is starting to bloom and the streets are starting to become more and more colorful. Understated floral details are so lovely this time of year, and I love this off-the-shoulder top from Modern Vintage Boutique for that reason!

Patrick and I have been so busy lately, so we didn’t even think about planning anything for my Birthday (I’m not big on Birthday celebrations for myself… just like to spend the day with loved ones!). But yesterday when I got home, Patrick said that he booked a night stay for us somewhere within a 3-hour drive from San Francisco, but won’t tell me where! All he said is that it is a casual place and that we will be going on a hike (what I asked for!!). Any guesses on where we are going?! I have no idea!!

As I get older, and because of what I do for a living, I care less and less about material things and more about experiences. About 3 years ago, Patrick and I decided that for every big occasion we would go on trips together, rather than buying each other presents. I swear it was the best decision we have ever made!!

Nancy Ann’s Flower Market

April Showers Bring May Flowers! It is finally May! AKA my birthday month and my favorite time of the year for SO many reasons. I love when everything starts blooming in San Francisco, it really is unlike anything else. Walks become longer, mostly because it’s warmer and I stop every two seconds to take pictures of flowers, and weekends are dedicated to being outside enjoying the sun! I love Sausalito, and if you have never been then I highly suggest you go! We stumbled upon the cutest little flower shop, Nancy Ann’s Flower Market, while having lunch there recently and the flower selection was INSANE! The most unique, vibrant, beautiful flowers you’ll ever see and a storefront that is just as dreamy. If you are now planning to visit Sausalito, I urge you to make a day of it!! You can rent bikes in San Francisco (I suggest somewhere near the Ferry Building), bike over the GGB down into Sausalito (prettiest ride ever!!), and then reward yourself with Margs and Baja-Style Mexican Tacos at Sausalito Taco Shop (our all-time fave in Sausalito!). Now that you have a little buzz from the bomb margaritas.. do a little shopping, pick up some fresh blooms and hop on the ferry with your bike and head back to the Ferry building. Sounds like the perfect day right?! Happy first day of May!!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!! Whatever your traditions may be, I hope you are able to enjoy them with loved ones today and that you eat too many reeses chocolate eggs because they are delicious. I love dressing for Easter because it is an excuse to wear pastels and bright colors, like this baby blue, flared, off-the-shoulder top from Modern Vintage Boutique. I love the white button detailing on the sleeves and the look pairs perfectly with my blue reflective sunnies from MVMT.

There is an Easter Parade on our street today which is always pretty wild and hilarious. There are food trucks, petting zoos and parades throughout the day. Last year I remember I didn’t know there was a parade on our street and walked out to a pony at the bottom of our steps, it was hilarious! Anyways, to put it lightly, I am SO EXCITED for it this year. Follow along on my Instastories later today!

A Star is Born

I think Michael Jackson might be my biggest style inspiration, because their is nothing I love more than over-the-top, gold-embellished details. I swear this jacket from A Star is Born was made for me and I would wear it every single day if I could. Actually, I think I am just overly obsessed with the entire A Star is Born Collection.  All all of the pieces have insane details that can make any outfit. I paired is with a black and gold bodysuit and extreme flared pants, which both complimented the statement jacket perfectly without stealing its’ thunder. Speaking of these pants… FINALLY they made pants to show off your statement heels! As soon as I saw these on LuLu’s website, I purchased them immediately. They are such a good items to have to take any look to the next level.
