Italian Days

Happy Sunday beautiful people! It is an incredibly beautiful day here in San Francisco and there is a Music Festival happening on our street that I can hear them setting up for now. Patrick and I are taking advantage of the nice weather and taking our workout outside today before checking out the festival. The festival beer garden is located right outside our door. If that’s not a sign we need to have a couple drinks today, I don’t know what is!

We are planning our Europe trip in August and have been trying to decide which locations we want to hit. We will be spending a week in Paris, and are thinking we will spend a week somewhere in Italy. Of course – I am thinking more about what to wear at each location. I snagged this beautiful white dress from Modern Vintage Boutique a little while ago, knowing it would be perfect for Europe. It gives off a certain vintage elegance that would be perfect for Italy. While we narrow down our plans I wanted to reach out to you guys – where has been your favorite place to visit in Europe and why?! We would love suggestions!!

Fishtail Braids in May

We’re inching closer and closer to Summer! I always experiment more with my hairstyles in the summer because of the hot temps that make me want to get my hair out of my face and off my body. I threw my hair into some fishtail braids on an exceptionally hot day in SF a few days ago! Although – for those of you visiting San francisco this Summer – remember that is is rarely warm here, lol! We get a few warm days here and there – but def don’t skip bringing a jacket + layers even though it is technically “Summer”! Also I got the smaller version of my favorite Lack of Color boater hat! I prefer this size whenever I style my hair in a braid or low bun.

Put A Bow On It

There are so many reasons why I have fallen madly in love with San Francisco. One reason being that my neighborhood, Cow Hollow, is kind of like one big garden that is constantly changing and evolving. I don’t think I could ever get tired of walking down the cute little streets lined with multi-colored houses covered in bougainvillea or surrounded by rose bushes. It really is a city unlike anywhere else and the late Spring/early Summer months are exceptionally beautiful!

Wisteria

Happy Monday!! I sort of fell of the planet this past weekend and didn’t work at all. The weather was absolutely perfect and it sucked all of the motivation out of me. Well – the motivation to sit in an office working while it was sunny and 80 degrees outside. But this wasn’t easy for me – as I love working a bit on weekends because it feels like “extra” time to get caught up/get ahead. I felt guilty the entire time. Sitting down this morning I realized how desperately I needed the little recharge and it is okay and necessary to disconnect every once in a while. It is so easy to get caught up in work and feel like if we take a break we will fall behind, but it typically makes you much more productive when you come back from the mini hiatus. I took my workouts outside and enjoyed acai bowls on the beach by the GGB, and literally didn’t open my emails once. Anyone else throw responsibility out the door to enjoy this amazing weather?!

Embroidery

Good morning from Monterey! Patrick surprised me with a night stay in Monterey for my Birthday! He spoils me, I don’t know how I got so lucky!! We have been wanting to come back here so bad since we watched Bid Little Lies (if you haven’t watched this show you NEED TO). Yesterday we pulled off the road to walk along the beach because the waves were huge! There was also huge swarm of birds about 100 yards out in the ocean which seemed odd, and then a FREAKING WHALE was right there! This happened right as we walked up to the water! The birds went where the whale went, so we would watch where they went and see the whale come up for air every few minutes. It was crazy!!!
