Florals for Spring… groundbreaking.
Okay, okay. But you really can’t go through a single Spring without wearing some type of floral dress. It’s like, illegal. That would be a sin – especially when there are SO MANY options, silhouettes, colors, lengths, etc. etc. etc.
Ruffles aren’t just for tops and dresses anymore – a new trend has emerged: ruffled heels.
And i’m in love.
Honestly though, have you seen anything cuter than these blush ruffled heels from Dorothy Perkins?! They have the same flattering benefits of a nude heel, but with a much more girly flare. Oh, and they also sent me the cutest “May” birthstone bangle for my birthday month! I haven’t taken it off since I got it – it pairs perfectly with all of my gold accessories. I wore this look during my first day at the Farmhouse Inn for a girls trip last month (read all about that trip here). All of the pieces are from DP’s Spring Collection, and are closet staples. Posting this last look from my time in NYC is making me so sad and is totally making me want to go back! The energy you feel from this city is unlike any other. You truly can accomplish more in a New York Minute than any other minute, I promise. I have been a repeat offender of this outfit one too many times, but I am legit obsessed with it. The sleeves on this top are straight from the style gods and pair perfectly with my lovely black and white, lace-up heels from Lola Shoetique. This was the first time I had been to Dumbo after seeing countless photos of it scattered all over Instagram. It almost looked fake and was a bucket list location that I was so excited to finally check off. Also – I do not recommend wearing these heels on cobblestone. Haha!

I love that this Satin Royal Blue top combines two of this years most coveted features. I paired it with Satin Royal Blue culottes for a more sophisticated, business-chic look and the new go-to heel: The Mule. Good morning and Happy Monday guys! I’m finally getting around to posting one of my looks for NYC a couple weeks ago. This was the first time I had been back to NYC for YEARS. The energy is so contagious there, I swear it will make you feel like you need to be staying up all night and running around all day. I can see why people fall so in love with this city, and I could totally picture myself living there for a year or 2. I wore this look on the last day I was there and quickly met up with the amazing Lisa Richov in between my meetings in Harold Square. I love the feel of these photos because they truly captured the hustle of the city and my whirlwind of a trip.
